The Country Club of Farmington – Connecticut's Premier Links Golf Club

Established in 1892, the Farmington Country Club is one of Connecticut’s distinguished historic Links. Designed by the renowned Devereux Emmet, a trailblazing American Golf Course Architect responsible for over 150 prestigious courses, Farmington holds a special place in his legacy. Even after more than a century, Farmington remains a shining jewel.

From the very first tee and as you progress through the course, the challenges posed by the distinctive ground contours and green placements become evident. Reading the greens before chipping is essential. Each hole possesses its own unique character, featuring undulating greens surrounded by bunkers that evoke the spirit of centuries-old Scottish links. The Country Club hosts numerous regional and state golf events, including The US Open Qualifier.

Upon arriving at the club, you are welcomed by a team of golf professionals and assistants dressed in button-down Oxford shirts, neckties, and khaki pants, transporting you to a traditional era of golf. The turn-of-the-century full-service clubhouse at Farmington maintains an atmosphere of warmth, with friendly members fostering a collegial and cordial environment.

We offer a selection of elegant rooms for meetings and events. All our members have access to these rooms for their events at no additional charge. We encourage the club to serve as a hub for both productivity and pleasure, and we have always been a valuable resource for building friendships and professional contacts.

We extend a warm invitation to visit our remarkable golf club and witness firsthand what sets us apart from other clubs in the area. If you have any questions or need further information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
